Route: two slopesRoute by the east Andalusian who unites two cities that have maintained a close relation throughout history. From the city of the Alhambra, Granada, to the city of the Fortress, Almeria. From the interior and between mountains we will accede to the coast in this spectacular route that runs throughout the two mentioned provinces.

We will leave from the monumental capital of the Nazarí kingdom located to 685 mts. of altitude above the sea level, to the northwest of the national park of Sierra Nevada and to the south of the natural park mountain range of Huétor. On its feet and west direction is the fertile region of the watered granadian fertile valley in its reduction by the Genil river, that is the main affluent of the Guadalquivir. Its dense one happened contributes to this irresistible magnetism that feels like when taking a walk by its narrow streets and colourful places.

Its jewel is the Alhambra that consists of several palaces and walled strength of Andalusí architecture, that lodged to the monarch and the court of the Nazarí kingdom, their true attractiveness is the interiors, whose decoration is in summits of the Islamic art. The red castle as is also known, is based on a rocky hill difficult to access by mountains and the Darro river, surrounded by the gardens of the Generalife and the oldest districts of the city, Albaicín and Sacromonte.

Our route will leave from Granada direction this lining up north face of Sierra Nevada, lines up steep of great beauty that will take us throughout its continuous unevennesses to the hole of Guadix, famous by its caves. Next we will enter in the Marquesado of the Zenete to be looking for the port of Ragua 2000 mts. It will take that us to the South face of Sierra Nevada, in this point we find the provincial limit of Granada and Almeria. The last part of the route runs throughout from Almeria Alpujarra, from which we will be losing height to the passage of beautiful populations that will take that us to the not less historical city of Almeria.
